Music Is In The Air

Music is in the air....
Well at least the photography for a music CD is anyway! A young, and I believe upcoming artist named ......Kaitlyn Faraghan is putting the final touches to her debut Music CD, so we shot some pictures for it this past weekend and of course I will post some here eventually, but not until I get the OK.
We all met up on Long Beach Island in N.J. EARLY Saturday morning to brave the early hours of a December sunrise in hope of a little magic from that big yellow ball of fire that we all, no doubt, wished was a little closer than it actually is this time of year. What we got was something other than what we were hoping to get....but we were not disappointed. The sky was a little cloudy and the air, well, not as cold as perhaps it should have been for this time of year here in the great north east but it was still a little colder than the average beach goer might care to endure just for a chance to gaze upon a golden sunrise. At least it didn't rain...unless frozen rain, as in HAIL, counts. Yes it did indeed hail. Although briefly, it hailed just long enough to remind us that, yes, it IS December.
Next we drove over to the Bay side of the island for a change in scenery and WoW, we found our December weather! The wind was blowin' in off the bay and just chilling us to the bone. This was enough to drive us off the Island. We finished up with some shots, you ready for this? In the front of Dicks Sporting Goods. Yup, that's right. Actually we only used the nice Gray wall in the front. It served our purpose well and was most conveniently adjacent to a Target. Why you ask is that convenient? STARBUCKS!! I can't speak for all of the Target locations but most of them up here have Starbucks inside. Anyone who is familiar with this rising star will know of her fond affection for the tasty goodness that is Starbucks beverages.
Stay tuned for more updates and hopefully some samples of her music.

Heirlooms & Legacies

Heirlooms & Legacies

Heirlooms & Legacies are a way to honor your parents or Grand parents. A way to introduce them to future generations. It starts with a portrait. At least a single distinctive portrait that captures the likeness and personality of the couple or individual. Then it is combined with at least a document of basic information about them and how they met, first memories as a couple, the names of their parents and Grandparents if possible. the idea is to commemorate their marriage and to share with future generations of your family some information about who they are and where they came from.

If this sounds like something you would like, either for yourself or a parent or grand parent, ask me about it and what options are available.
